We are currently looking to hire 2 Teaching Assistants for a SEN school in the North Tyneside area of Newcastle on behalf of a lovely inclusive and passionate Deputy Head teacher. The school are hiring support to help within the classroom, and with the children who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Degenerative illnesses (DI), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) amongst others.
This rewarding role is fast paced, challenging and the ideal candidates will have experience with SEND children, specifically children with ASD, PMLD, and ADD; they will need to be able to think quickly on their feet, and preferably have Team Teach training – although this will not be needed in practice until you have been at the school for some time.
